Richard L. Cabot, 84, an area resident for less than two years and formerly of White Plains and Valhalla, passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2013 at home.
Born in the Bronx on December 24, 1928, he was the son of the late Henry R. and Mildred (Vogel) Cabot. He was the owner and operator of Richard L. Cabot Tree Service in Valhalla.
Richard is survived by his children, Denise Clappier, Richard L. Cabot, Sharon Cabot, Kelly Cabot, Kathy Cabot Dengler, and Glenn Cabot; his 14 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren. Rich was predeceased by his son, Daniel Cabot, on April 19, 2011.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 3 – 5 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The memorial service will be held at 4:30 pm with military honors.
