LINCOLNTON, NC – Richard J. Casucci, 57, of Lincolnton, NC since 1996 and formerly of Clinton Corners, NY, died on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at the Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC.
Born on April 18, 1956 in Mount Vernon, NY, he was the son of the late Carmine J. and Margaret (Pinto) Casucci. Richard was the owner and operator of R.J. Casucci Construction and Royal Crown Pools. A dedicated and hard worker, he was also a car enthusiast.
Richard is survived by his daughter, Melissa Casucci and her fiancé Shawn Christensen of Clinton Corners, NY; his fiancée, Pamela Johns of Lincolnton, NC; his brothers, Vincent J. Casucci and his wife Fran of Poughkeepsie, NY, Daniel Casucci and Maryann of Verbank, NY, and Carmine "Robert" Casucci and his wife Sue of Verbank, NY; his former wife, Deborah Casucci; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10 am at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction, NY followed by entombment at Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery. A memorial service in the Lincolnton, NC will be scheduled at a future time.
