Fishkill- Richard J. Gibson a resident of Fishkill since 1994 previously from the Bronx, NY, passed away on September 25, 2023, at St. Luke's Hospital in Newburgh, NY.
He was 60 years old.

Richard was born in the Bronx on January 29, 1963, the son of James and Isabel (King) Gibson.

On September 11, 1992, Richard married the love of his life Yvonne (Fellegara) at St. Benedicts Church in the Bronx. She survives at home.

For 25 years, Richard worked for the D.E.P. in Bronx, NY before his retirement.

Rich had an extreme creative side; he was a talented master builder and could fix anything. A true family man he created a beautiful life for his wife and daughter who he loved dearly. He was a quiet and reserved man who loved to be surrounded by family and friends.

In addition to his wife Yvonne, Richard is survived by his loving daughter Nicole Gibson, his brother James Gibson Jr., Orlando Kohuloon as well as many dear friends, loving cousins and his beloved dog Rocco who will miss him terribly.

Calling hours will be Friday, September 29, 2023, at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc. 1089 Main Street, Fishkill, NY from 3 PM – 7 PM. A service for Richard will take place in the funeral home at 6:30 PM.
