Richard J. Hallinan, 70, a resident of Hopewell Junction for 15 years and formerly of Bedford, died on June 9, 2017.

Born in Bath, NY on April 19, 1947, he was the son of the late William and Shirley Hallinan. Richard was the owner and operator of Brooks Consulting Group. He enjoyed playing tennis and golf, traveling, sailing and scuba diving.

Richard is survived by his wife, Susan; his sons and their wives, Jason and Angelique Hallinan, Jeffrey and Heather Hallinan; his grandsons, Aidan and Jaxon; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother and sister-in-law, William and Carolyn Hallinan.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Funeral Service will be on Wednesday at 11am at the funeral home.
