Lagrange - Richard M. Maddock, 83, an area resident since 1981, and formerly of Harrison and Yonkers, died on August 18, 2018 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.

Born in Inwood, Queens, NY on September 19, 1934, he was the son of Richard and Bridget (Lee) Maddock. Richard was employed as a salesman with Uniroyal Rubber Company in New York City. He was a parishioner of St. Martin de Porres Church in Poughkeepsie. He loved spending time outside designing his ornamental plants and gardening.

Richard was predeceased by his wife Patricia (Rohme) on November 21, 2015; his daughter Mary Lee Maddock; and his brother John "Jack" Maddock. He is survived by his daughters, Victoria Maddock, Treacy Bob and her husband Chris, Melissa Maddock, and Peggy Jo Maguire; his grandchildren, Peter, Michael, Brittany, Alexandra, Kevin, Patrick, Christopher and Luke; and his great-grandchildren, Jaiden, Anthony and Richard.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday at 9:30am at St. Martin de Porres Church, 118 Cedar Valley Road, Poughkeepsie.
