Richard Francis Montaldo, 75, passed away peacefully on January 7th, 2023.

He was born in the Bronx, NY on November 8, 1947 to parents Frank and Louise (Frugoli) Montaldo. On October 1, 1966, he married his loving wife Marguerite (Hamaker) Montaldo at Immaculate Conception Church in the Bronx. Marguerite predeceased him in 2015.

Richard worked for many years as a service technician for AT&T/Lucent (previously Western Electric). He was a baseball coach for youth baseball in East Fishkill in his younger years and enjoyed that very much. He also loved to take his family (especially his wife Marguerite) on vacations to Bermuda and Long Island. He was an avid fan of the Minnesota Vikings and never missed a game.

Richard is survived by his beloved children Jeannie, Frank, and Richard Montaldo; his grandchildren: Scott Jr., Stephen and Alexa Attanasio, Amanda and Matthew Montaldo; and his great-grandson Giovanni Dahdal; Richard is survived by his loving brother Paul Montaldo, and predeceased by his loving brother Steven Montaldo. The family would like the thank his best friend, Freddy Jimenz, who has been by his side for over 30 years and who has been there for him through everything.

Out of respect for Richards wishes, a Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
