Richard Riccobono, a Wappingers Falls resident since 2019, formerly of Mahopac, Mount Vernon, and the Bronx, passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie. He was 75.
Son of the late Santo and Mighelena (Stumpo) Riccobono, he was born in the Bronx on December 17, 1950.
He retired from Verizon as a lineman in 2000 and then started his own computer business, TCX Services, which he operated from home. Richard was an avid coin collector, especially gold and silver. He was a lifelong Beatles fan as well.
On September 7, 1980, he married Lori Gladstein in the Bronx. Lori survives at home in Wappingers Falls.
Additional survivors include his daughters: Nicole A. Riccobono of Wappingers Falls, Brianna Riccobono of Hopewell Junction, and Mandi Cacciottoli (Erik) of Hopewell Junction; his grandchildren: Joey Riccobono, Franki Riccobono, Jaxon Cacciottoli, and Bailey Cacciottoli; his nieces and nephews: Joseph Riccobono, Anthony Riccobono (Julio), Pamela Baldassari (Jeff), Laurence Baldassari (Lisa), Debra Busco (James), Vikki Stoll (Edward), Michael Goldfeder (Jennifer), David Gladstein (Jackie), and Donna Gladstein; as well as many great-nieces, great-nephews, and countless other loving family members.
In addition to his parents, Richard was also predeceased by his siblings: Joseph Riccobono (Camille) and Dolores "Dee" Baldassari (Laurence); his siblings-in-law, Donald Gladstein and Sheila Goldfeder (Neil); as well as two nephews, John Riccobono and Eric Gladstein.
Calling hours will be held from 4:00pm to 8:00pm on Wednesday, July 1 at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:00am on Thursday, July 2 at St. Mary, Mother of the Church, 106 Jackson Street, Fishkill, NY. Interment will follow at Fishkill Rural Cemetery, 801 Route 9, Fishkill, NY.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Lewy Body Dementia Association (www.lbda.org) or the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research (www.michaeljfox.org).
