Richard "Dick" Joseph Warren, 82, passed away on October 8, 2024 with his family at his side due to complications from Stiff Person Syndrome. He was born on July 2, 1942 to Howard and Marian Warren in Poughkeepsie, NY. He grew up in Fishkill Plains, NY. Dick graduated from Wappingers Central School in 1960. He married his childhood sweetheart, Karen Raitio on March 20, 1965. They have 3 daughters, Wendy and Alfred Radek, Sandra and Randyll Wacker and Beverly and Kenneth Kinzer, and multiple grandchildren, Amanda Wacker, Melissa Tracy, James Howard, Grace Kinzer, Declan Kinzer, Robert Radek and Taylor Radek.

In addition to his wife, children and grandchildren, Dick is survived by his 2 sisters, Jean Scholfield and Evelyn Kalisty, his brother Leslie Warren and many nieces and nephews.

Dick retired from IBM in East Fishkill after 30 years and then worked part time at Dogwood Knolls Golf Course for many years.

He was an active member of the Lomala Civic Association, lifetime member of East Fishkill Fire Department Station 4 Wiccopee and longtime member of the Dogwood Golf Course.

Dick's love of sports kept him busy. He followed the Dodgers and the Mets, enjoyed fishing, playing card games and loved to golf.

He has joined his parents, Howard and Marian Warren, and his 2 brothers, Lyale and William Warren.

Calling hours will be on Sunday, October 13, 2024 from 1pm - 5pm with a fireman's service from 4:30pm - 4:45pm at McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. Services will be on Monday, October 14, 2024 at 10am at the Funeral Home and burial immediately following in Fishkill Rural Cemetery.
