Ricky S. Ranieri, a resident of Stormville, New York for the past 20 years, and formerly of Florida and Carmel, New York, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. He was 71 years old.

Born in Queens, New York on July 18, 1954, Ricky was the son of the late Donald Ranieri and Barbara (Kuhn) Elia.

On July 22, 1982, Ricky married the love of his life, Jeanmarie (Addonizio) Ranieri, in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Together they shared nearly 44 years of marriage, building a life centered on faith, love, family, and service to others. Their marriage was a shining example of devotion, partnership, and unwavering commitment. Jeanmarie survives at home.

For more than 40 years, Ricky proudly worked as a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Local #38 in Brewster, New York. Known for his strong work ethic and remarkable ability to repair just about anything, he was respected by his colleagues and friends alike.

While Ricky's career was important to him, his greatest calling was his faith in Jesus Christ. A devoted man of God, Ricky faithfully served as a longtime member and Deacon of The Mission Church in Holmes, New York. His love for the Lord was evident in every aspect of his life. He taught Bible studies, mentored and encouraged countless people in their walk of faith, and shared the Gospel wherever God called him. During his years in Florida, he served as a youth pastor, helping to guide young people with wisdom, compassion, and a servant's heart.

Ricky's ministry extended far beyond the walls of the church. He participated in missionary work around the world, bringing hope, encouragement, and the message of Christ to those in need. Whether preaching as an evangelist, lending a helping hand, or simply offering a listening ear, Ricky's life was a testament to his deep and abiding faith.

At The Mission Church, Ricky was known as the person who could fix anything. Whether repairing a broken door, solving a maintenance problem, or helping with a church project, he did so with joy and humility. The children of the church affectionately called him "Mr. Ricky Can Fix Anything," a nickname that reflected both his talents and the love he shared with everyone around him. His kindness, patience, and willingness to serve left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

Above all else, Ricky treasured his family. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, and a steadfast source of strength and encouragement. His greatest pride and joy were his wife and daughters. He cherished every moment spent with them and was their biggest supporter, protector, and friend. The love he shared with his family was unconditional and unwavering, and the memories they created together will be treasured forever.

Ricky also enjoyed playing golf, watching football and lacrosse, and was a lifelong and enthusiastic fan of the Raiders.

In addition to his beloved wife Jeanmarie, Ricky is survived by his loving daughters, Karissa Ranieri and Rikkijean Fahringer; his cherished dog and faithful companion, Nikko; his siblings, Raymond Ranieri, Doreen Engelsher, and Scott Elia; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members, church family, and dear friends whose lives were forever enriched by knowing him.

For benevolence, memorial donations may be made to The Mission Church in Ricky's memory.

A memorial service celebrating Ricky's life and faith will be announced at a later date.

Though Ricky's earthly work is complete, the legacy of his faith, love, and service lives on in the countless lives he touched. He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and joyfully reunited with those who share his eternal hope in Christ.
