LAGRANGEVILLE – Rita M. Astorino, 84, an area resident since 1972, died on November 15, 2020 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. She previously lived in the Bronx.

Born on August 28, 1936 in the Bronx, she was the daughter of the late John and Margaret (Riley) Beaulieu. Rita worked in the local retail industry for many years, first at Mays in the Dutchess Mall and then at Marshalls in Poughkeepsie.

She is survived by her daughters, Ann-Marie Drummond and her husband David of LaGrangeville and Cindy Astorino and her fiancé David Converse of Poughquag; her grandchildren, Crystal, Stephanie, and Vincent Drummond; her great-grandson, Salvatore Lorentz; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Rita was also predeceased by her husband, Salvatore Astorino; and her siblings, Catherine (Dolly) DiCarlo and Gloria Astorino.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 5 – 8 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. A funeral service will be held on Friday at 10 am at the funeral home followed by burial at Fishkill Rural Cemetery. PLEASE NOTE: In compliance with NYS guidelines, social distancing and face masks will be required.
