LAGRANGE - Robert C. Alley, 79, a lifelong area resident, died on October 16, 2024 at the Grand in Pawling following a long battle with dementia.

Born in Poughkeepsie on September 26, 1945, he was the son of Milton and Margaret (Sebeth) Alley. He proudly served our country in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War. Robert was the President of the family business, Milton Alley Agway in LaGrangeville.

Robert was an avid bowler for many years at Hoe Bowl in Poughkeepsie, and also enjoyed golfing. He was also a Corvette fanatic, and a member of the Mid-County Rod & Gun Club.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Sandra (Ostrander) Alley on February 17, 2022. He is survived by his son, Carlton Rounds and his husband Zaidi Moin; his brother, John Alley and his wife Pam; and his nephews, Travis and Jared Alley.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the future.
