FISHKILL – Robert (Rob) Christopher Cavalluzzi, a longtime resident of Mount Vernon and Fishkill, passed away suddenly on Friday, December 30, 2022 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie. He was 51. He was born in Mount Vernon on December 31, 1970. Robert enjoyed many hobbies, especially fishing, car races, and video games, which he consistently played every Friday night for 20 years. He more recently became interested in growing vegetables of which he was so proud. He worked as a driver for Duncan's All Access Transportation in Poughkeepsie. Survivors include his mother, Margaret Anne Arcuri Cavalluzzi of Fishkill; his brother, Paul Cavalluzzi of Fishkill; his fiancé, Jean Mary Salomone of Fishkill; his half-siblings, Kori Peters of Texas, Keith Hamilton of Pennsylvania, Kara Brem of Texas, U.S Navy Electronics Technician Second Class Jonathan Cavalluzzi of San Diego; Nicole Rice, Ashley Cavalluzzi and Ava Cavalluzzi of Florida; his uncle, Ray Cavalluzzi of South Carolina; his nephews and nieces, Nicolas Cavalluzzi, Alexa Cavalluzzi, JJ Peters and Kaiden Brem, Great Aunts, Mary Nanry, Lucille Arcuri and Anne Pezzola as well as many other loving cousins & friends. Robert was predeceased by his father, Robert Cavalluzzi, Grandparents and Aunt and Uncle Theresa and Joseph Como. Calling hours will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, January 6 at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill, NY.
