HOLMES - Robert William Chaffee, 68, formerly of Carmel, died on March 20, 2021.

Born in the Bronx on July 25, 1952, he was the son of Florence (Guerrieri) Chaffee and the late Andrew Norman Chaffee. Robert had been employed as a Service Technician for Canon. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and golfing.

On July 12, 1975 in Brewster, Robert married Gail Pautke who survives at home. He is also survived by his daughters, Jennifer Chaffee and Melissa Chaffee; his grand dog, Kevin; his mother, Florence Chaffee; his siblings and their spouses, Andrew Jr. and Patty Chaffee, Wayne and Carol Chaffee, Dennis and Lorraine Chaffee, Lori Ann Pozzuoli; Pamela and Michael Vizzini; and Diedre Chaffee; his brother-in-law, Gary Malstrom; his sister-in-law, Carol Pautke; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his sister, Denise Malstrom; and his brother-in-law, Robert Pozzuoli.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 4-8pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. There will be a Funeral Service on Thursday at 10am at the funeral home followed by interment in Raymond Hill Cemetery.
