Robert D. "Bobby" Derr, 69, passed away suddenly at Vassar Brothers Medical Center on Sunday, December 27, 2015.

Bobby was born on August 20, 1946 in the Bronx to Donald and Mary Albus Derr. He served our country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and retired as a plumber from Bruni and Campisi in White Plains. Bobby enjoyed playing golf and pool, and lived life to the fullest every day. He was loved by everyone including those at Dogwood Knolls Golf Course. He touched the hearts of many people. Always happy, he never had a bad word to say about anyone. He will be truly missed but never forgotten. We love you Bobby.

He is survived by his children, Robert Derr, Christopher Derr and Joey Pineda; his brothers, Richard and Donald Derr; Jane Lenahan Derr; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Judy Falco. He will forever be remembered for his love and devotion to his sons.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 10am followed by burial in Wappingers Rural Cemetery with military honors.
