Robert Allan Figarella, 56, an area resident since 1993 and formerly of Yorktown, died peacefully at his home on December 31, 2018 following a long illness.

Born in Mount Vernon on May 4, 1962, he was the son of Alfred and Helen (Bonnen) Figarella. Robert had been employed as a Package Car Driver for UPS in Elmsford and Yorktown for 31 years until his retirement in 2014. He was a parishioner of St. Columba Church, and a member of the Putnam County Fish & Game Association and an active member of the NRA.

On September 24, 1988 in Bradley Beach, NJ, Robert married Jill (Rebori) Figarella who survives at home. He is also survived by his sons, Nicholas and Daniel Figarella; his sisters, Nancy DiMuro and Linda Castriota; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda and Robert Berquist, and John and Anna Rebori; and 11 loving nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 4-8pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday at 11:30am at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction.
