Robert Joseph Gallo Sr, an area resident for 47 years, passed away at Laurel Ridge Health Care Center in Ridgefield Connecticut. Known as "Bob Gallo" to his family and friends, he was 84 years old.

Born in the Bronx on March 13, 1938, he was the son of the late Joseph and Frances (Soldo) Gallo, and predeceased by his brother, Eugene Gallo and sister, Adelaide Libertini.

On November 20, 1960, Robert married the love of his life, Sylvia (Cicchelli), in Our Lady of Pity Church, Bronx, NY. Sylvia predeceased Robert on November 6, 2019.

Robert is survived by his son, Robert Joseph Gallo Jr.; his daughter, Karen Gallo; his daughter, Francene Pruner and her husband, Brent; his grandchildren, Emma Louise Gallo, Jillian Sylvia Pruner, and Lauren Patricia Pruner.

He was employed by Wonder Bread company in Elmsford, NY, and since 1971 was a longtime parishioner at St. Mary, Mother of the Church in Fishkill, NY. Robert had a great sense of humor and enjoyed spending time with his family.
