Stormville- Robert F. Garfinkel Jr. a resident of Stormville, NY passed away on August 13, 2024, after battling a short illness. He was 52 years old.

Robert was born on June 28, 1972, in Bronx, NY the son of Robert and Eleanor (Ignatovich) Garfinkel Sr.

On September 5, 1999, Robert married the love of his life Theresa "Tracey" Murray at St. Denis Church in Hopewell Junction, NY. She survives at home.

Robert enjoyed anything to do with cars. Working on them, painting them, rebuilding them, and could most of the time be found in his garage. Robert was always around to help a neighbor in need of anything. He was an all-around great guy who everyone loved.

In addition to his wife Tracey, Robert is survived by his son Bobby Garfinkel III who he was incredibly proud of, stepson Brandon Clark, a granddaughter Lena whom he adored and affectionately referred to as "PITA", his mother, Eleanor Garfinkel, his sister Patty Garfinkel-Velez, his brother Jimmy Wienghes and many aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Robert is predeceased by his father, Robert F. Garfinkel, Sr., his grandfather Alex Ignatovich, his uncles Albert Ignatovich and Michael Richards, and his mother-in-law Peggy Murray.
