Robert C. Hill, 77, a resident of Wappingers Falls since 1976 and formerly of Yonkers, died on Friday, January 8, 2016 at his home.

Born in Yonkers on October 26, 1938, he was the son of Frederick and Dorothy Ryan Hill. Robert was employed as an electrician with Local 501 for 40 years, until his retirement from Local 3. He was an avid golfer who also enjoyed kayaking adventures.

On June 22, 1973 in Yonkers, Robert married Claire O'Keefe who survives at home. He is also survived by his children, Robert Hill of Yonkers, Kerry Silva and her husband Frederick of Ardsley, Jennifer Hill of Hyde Park, Claudette King and her husband Brian of Yonkers, Gregory Hill and his wife Christine of Hyde Park; his grandchildren, Robert, Thomas, Shannon, Luke, Andrew, Emily, Madison and Brian; and many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Monday from 2-5pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. Memorial donations may be made to the Hospice Foundation, Inc.
