It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert "Leo" Leone, a pillar of love and strength in our family, on Thursday, May 9, 2024. He departed this world unexpectedly, leaving behind a profound void in the lives of all who knew him.

Robert was born on September 21, 1949 in Elmsford, New York. He was known for his unwavering kindness, genuine warmth, and boundless generosity. His gentle demeanor and contagious smile brought joy to countless hearts and touched the lives of many.

In addition to his roles as a loving father, cherished grandfather, and husband, Robert was a respected Elmsford Sheet Metal Teamster Local #456 for 42 years, where he dedicated himself to his career. His integrity and commitment to his work earned him the admiration and respect of his coworkers.

As a father, Robert was a guiding light, imparting wisdom, and his unwavering love and encouragement to his son. He devoted himself wholeheartedly to his happiness and well-being, always ready to lend a listening ear or offer sage advice. His support and endless affection served as a source of strength for his family through every triumph and challenge.

In his role as a grandfather, Robert was a source of joy and laughter. He cherished every moment spent with his grandchildren, creating cherished memories that will be treasured for generations to come. Whether sharing stories, playing games (especially War or Pinball), or simply basking in their presence, his love knew no bounds, and his legacy of love will live on in their hearts forever.

Robert was a wonderful husband, a soulmate, and a best friend. His love for Carol was a testament to the enduring power of love. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and precious moments that will be cherished eternally.

Though his physical presence may be gone, the memories of Robert's love, laughter, and kindness will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him. His legacy of love and compassion will be carried forward by those he leaves behind.

Robert is survived by his wife Carol, his loving son Rob and daughter-in-law Rachel, his adoring grandchildren RJ, Kendall and Brenton, as well as his siblings Theresa and Genevieve, extended family, and countless friends.

A celebration of Robert's life will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2024 from 12-2 at McHoul Funeral Home Inc, 895 Route 82, Hopewell Jct, New York, 12533, where we will come together to honor his memory and find solace in each other's company.

Though we mourn the loss of Robert, we take comfort in knowing that he is now at peace, watching over us from above, forever remembered, forever cherished, and forever loved. Rest in peace, dear Robert. You will be deeply missed, but your spirit will live on in our hearts forever and always.
