Robert F. Mavageri, 71, a resident of Fishkill, died on May 31, 2019 at New Paltz Rehabilitation Center.
Born on January 16, 1948, in the Bronx, Robert was the son of the late Leo and Martha (Sperle) Mavageri.
A 1971 graduate of Curry College, Robert retired in 2017 after working as a psychiatric technician for 23 years at Silver Hill Hospital in New Canaan, CT.
Survivors include his cousins, June Greig and her husband, John Paykowski of Longmeadow MA; James Greig and his wife Marcia Burch of Brooklyn; and Robert Heydorn and his wife, Barbara of Metuchen, NJ; and many loving friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 22 at 11am at McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc.,1089 Main Street, Fishkill, NY.
Memorial donations may be made to Silver Hill Hospital, Development Office, 208 Valley Road, New Canaan, CT 06840.
