BEACON– Robert Anthony Pappas, 69, passed away at home on August 28, 2023. A resident of Beacon since 1954, he previously lived in Alabama and Tennessee.

Born on July 16, 1954 in Beacon, He proudly served in the US Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. Tony was a contractor in the construction industry until his retirement. He enjoyed antiquing and riding on his Harley-Davidson.

Tony is survived by his domestic partner, Joan Marks at home; his children, Bobby Pappas of Portland, OR, Drew Taylor-Pappas of Grand Bay, AL, Nicole McGallagher-Pappas of Mobile, AL, Amanda Marks of Beacon, NY and Brittney Marks-Pappas of Wappingers Falls, NY.
