Robert Edward Parzyck, 86, died peacefully on October 4, 2026 at his home.
Born in Yonkers on September 25, 1940, he was the son of the late Edward and Mary (Kobalka) Parzyck. Bob graduated from Archbishop Stepinac High School in White Plains and proudly served our country in the US Army as a Medical Corpsman in Germany. He had been employed as a draftsman, and testing and balancer installer with Local #38 Sheet Metal Workers in Brewster, NY for over 50 years until his retirement in 2001.
On February 14, 1976 in Bogota, New Jersey, Bob married the love of his life, Gail Marguerite Wolf, who survives at home after 50 years of marriage.
Bob and Gail moved to LaGrangeville in 1980. He had formerly resided in Lodi and Ridgefield Park, NJ and Tappan and Yonkers, NY. Bob was a member of the Local #38 Sheet Metal Retirees Association, National Rifle Association of America, Bermuda National Trust, Bermuda Historical Society, East Fishkill Historical Society, Fishkill Historical Society, and LaGrange Historical Society. He was a former member of the Coon Skin Wild Boar Hunting & Fishing Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, sailing, boating, traveling and reading.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, November 15 at 10:30am at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. Burial will be in the Hopewell Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
