Robert "Bob" Lawrence Statlend, a resident of New Paltz, NY passed away peacefully on May 21st, 2024 at the age of 62. Born in Valley Stream, New York, he was the son of Lawrence and Patricia (Nichols) Statlend. Bob loved cooking all different types of cuisines and was extremely talented at it. He loved listening to classic rock music and was an avid fan of the New York METS and New York Football Giants. He was always known for his trademark love of grey & white t-shirts. However, more than anything, he cherished his family. Bob will always and forever be remembered as a hardworking and extremely selfless man. He always made sure he put his family first before anything else in life. Bob loved delivering a good joke to make someone laugh or giggle. His smile and sense of humor will not be forgotten. He will be missed dearly by all his loved ones. Bob will live on forever in our hearts.

Bob is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Katherine; his children; Brittany Martinez and her husband Adam, Matthew Statlend, Alexandra Statlend and her partner TJ; and his beloved grandchildren, Zoe & Liam. He is also survived by his sister, Karen Witzgall, her husband Rory, numerous nieces and nephews, brother in laws & sister in laws. In addition to his parents, Bob was predeceased by his sister, Deborah Pastorelli, and his brother, Kenneth Statlend.
