Robert Vittorini, 79, a lifelong resident of Westchester County, died peacefully on December 9, 2022 at the Paramount at Somers.
Born on September 22, 1943 in Mount Kisco, he was the son of the late William and Adeline (Costa) Vittorini. For the last 30 years, Robert has resided in a group home under the care of WARC. He enjoyed art projects, puzzles, dancing and music from the 50s. An avid fan of the New York Yankees, he loved model cars and could name every one of them from the 50s, 60s and 70s.
Robert is survived by his sister, Linda Chiacchia and her husband Mario; his nieces and nephews, Gregory Chiacchia, Michael and Jete Chiacchia, Suzanne Barki, William Vittorini Jr., and David and Treesh Vittorini; his great nieces and nephews, Brayden, Aria, Zion, Brooklyn, Alyssa, Cassidy, Jesse, Billy and Stephanie, Anthony and Trisha, and Alexandra and Liam; and his great, great nieces and nephews, Billy, Gabriella, Grayson and Karter. He was predeceased by his brother, Bill Vittorini; and his nephew, Russel Chiacchia.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday from 11am-1pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. There will be a service at 1pm.
