Robert Todd Welsh, 36, a resident of Hopewell Junction since 1986 and formerly of White Plains, died on Saturday, November 13, 2010.
Born in Albany on November 20, 1973, he was the son of Robert and Kathleen Reusch Welsh of Hopewell Junction. Todd graduated from John Jay High School in 1992 and attended Hudson Valley Community College and Emporia State University in Kansas. He played football in high school and college and went on to play semi-pro ball with the Newburgh Raiders. He was the owner and operator of Lawn Doctor in Hopewell Junction and was a member of All Sport Health and Fitness Club in Fishkill.
On October 28, 2006 in Poughkeepsie, Todd married Audra Muscari who survives at home. In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by his son, Robert Max Welsh; his stepson, Michael; his sisters, Kylie Welsh of New Haven, CT and Cori Alicea of Milford, CT; his half brother, Charlie Welsh of Fishkill; his nephews, Justin, Tristen and Austin; and many aunts, uncles and cousins in Florida and Kansas.
Calling hours will be held on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a fund that is being established for Todd's five month old son, Robert Max Welsh and mailed c/o McHoul Funeral Home, PO Box A, Hopewell Jct., NY 12533.
