Wappingers Falls – Roberto Muñoz, a resident of Wappingers Falls, died on October 9, 2020 due to a medical condition. He was 68. His wife, of 30 years, Jacqueline Muñoz, and his youngest daughter, Charil Muñoz, cared for him with love during his last days.
Roberto was born in Peñuelas, Puerto Rico on December 19, 1951 to Hilda Rodriguez and Martin Muñoz. He was raised in Barrio de los Chinos in Ponce, Puerto Rico and lived over 30 years in the Bronx, New York.
On September 6th, 1991 he married the love of his life, Jackie, his “Delirante Amor.” Roberto was a kind, supportive, and loving partner to his wife. He was her love and best friend, her everything.
Roberto was an exceptional and loving father and father-in-law to his children Charil and spouse, Giovanni Gonzalez, his son Justin Muñoz and his fiancée, Domaris Jimenez, and to his daughter and son Hilda “Anita” and Roberto Muñoz.
Aside from being survived by his wife and children, Roberto leaves behind his mother, Hilda Rodriguez, and mother-in-law Altagracia Rosa Santamaria, his siblings, Mayda Marquez, Nancy Bedolla, and Noah (deceased), Abel, Cherry, Eliezer, Miriam, Ana and Martin Muñoz, and his grandchildren, Giovanni Roberto Gonzalez, Justin Noah Shea Jr. and Marilys Jackie Shea Muñoz, Elijah Isaih Mazuelos, Maxileny Leyla Ferrari, and Noah and Kay’lee Muñoz.
He is survived by many other family members to whom he was a father figure, son, mentor or best friend, including his nieces and nephews: Jesus “Macho” and Michelle Vargas, Ivette and Edwin Muñoz, Julissa and Naurys Muñoz, Joshua Rios and Jasleen Diaz, Naty Muñoz (deceased), Jennifer Liedteke and Jayckie Bedolla, Ray Muñoz, and Angel Torres; and his in-laws and their children, Soraya Ramirez, Jose Elpidio Mendez, Karina, Rafael, and Alberto Santamaria, and Nicole Monlyn, Rafael Ramirez, and Taina Santamaria.
Roberto touched the hearts of many during his life and will forever be loved and missed.
The services will be private. Relatives & friends can view the service via livestream at www.mchoulfuneralhome.com on Thursday, October 15th at 3pm. Due to Covid-19, there will be no gathering of family and friends at this time.

Además de ser sobrevivido por su esposa e hijos, Roberto deja atrás a su madre, Hilda Rodríguez, y a su suegra Altagracia Rosa Santamaria, sus hermanos Mayda Márquez, Nancy Bedolla y Noah (fallecido), Abel, Cherry, Eliezer, Miriam, Ana y Martin Muñoz, y sus nietos, Giovanni Roberto González, Justin Noah Shea Jr. y Marilys Jackie Shea Muñoz, Elijah Isaih Mazuelos, Maxileny Leyla Ferrari y Noah y Kay'lee Muñoz.
