Rocco (Rocky) Gaetano De Santis Jr., a resident of East Fishkill since 2015, and formerly of Mount Pleasant, passed away peacefully on July 2, 2023, at Putnam Ridge Nursing Home in Brewster. He was 89. Rocco was born on January 22, 1934, in Bronxville, New York to the late Rocco Gaetano and Armida (Cianchetti) De Santis.

Rocky proudly served in the Army briefly. Cars were his passion and he loved to race. Rocky had owned several successful auto body businesses before he retired.

Rocco is survived by his daughters, sister (Armida Murphy) and several nieces, nephews and grandchildren. Rocco was predeceased by his son, (Baby Rocky who was only on this earth for 11 days), his brother Ernest De Santis, sister Palma Mary Midollo, his former wife Ida (Battista) De Santis and his loving dog "Joy".
