FISHKILL – Rose M. Conneely, 85, an area resident since 2000, passed away on January 11, 2023 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.

Born in Manchester, United Kingdom on February 20, 1937, Rose was the daughter of the late James and Margaret (Fee) Meegan. She was raised in County Monaghan in Northern Ireland and then immigrated to New York, United States, where she lived in Putnam Valley, White Plains, and the Bronx.

Rose is survived by her children, Michael Conneely and Susan Buchanan; her 6 grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews and friends that she considered her family. In addition to her parents, Rose was also predeceased by her son, Peter Conneely in 1990.

Calling hours will be held on Friday from 9 – 10 am at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill. A Mass of Christian Burial is being offered on Friday at 10:30 am at St. Mary, Mother of the Church, 103 Jackson Street, Fishkill followed by burial at Assumption Cemetery.
