Rose DeMuccio, 99, a resident of Wilmington, NC and formerly of Ocala, FL and Hopewell Junction, NY, died peacefully on October 18, 2025 at Liberty Commons Rehabilitation Center.

Born in the Bronx on August 12, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Fiore and Marie (Augusta) Finelli. Rose had been employed as a dental assistant at the Castle Point VA Medical Center for many years. She was been a parishioner of St. Denis Church in Hopewell Junction and a member of the East Fishkill and Beekman Seniors.

On November 5, 1949 in the Bronx, Rose married John DeMuccio who predeceased her on September 13, 1987. She is survived by her daughters and their husbands, Susan and Walter Leczinski, and Karen and James Trendell; her granddaughters, Kristy Theisinger and her husband Marc, and Sarah Rozelle; her great-grandchildren, Grant and Blair Theisinger; and her longtime companion, Paul Hahn.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, November 7, from 9-10:30am at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11am at St. Denis Church, 602 Beekman Road, Hopewell Junction followed by interment in St. Denis Cemetery.
