Rose Marie Passarelli, a resident of Wappingers Falls, passed away peacefully on December 27, 2025, at Hudson Valley Rehab and Extended Care. She was 80 years old.

Rose Marie was born on October 19, 1945, in Manhattan, the daughter of the late Pasquale and Theresa (Garabo) Glorioso. Rose Marie grew up in the Bronx and Yonkers, New York, with her late brother, Anthony. She raised her two children in East Fishkill, NY. Rose Marie worked at Medallic Art Company in Danbury, Connecticut, where she formed many lifelong friendships. She later spent more than 20 years as a dental assistant at Fishkill Dental, a place that also brought her cherished friendships.

Rose Marie loved music and dancing, enjoyed gardening, lunching, and shopping with friends, cooking, and bird watching. Her greatest joy was being a mother and grandmother. She loved her family deeply and was always there for them. She is survived by her beloved children: her daughter, Rhonda Stoffel of Wappinger Falls, New York, and her son, Robert Passarelli, of Largo, Florida. She considered her son-in-law, Robert, and daughter-in-law, Delores, to be her own children. Rose Marie was blessed with four grandchildren: Robert, Lucas, Madison, and Taeha.

Rose Marie was loved by many and will be greatly missed. She is no longer in pain and now joins her beloved parents, brother Tony, sister-in-law Bea, and cousin Marie in Heaven.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at 10am at St. Mary, Mother of the Church, 106 Jackson Street, Fishkill, NY, 12524.
