Rose M. Pucci, 92, an area resident for 23 years and formerly of Yonkers, passed away on Sunday, December 28, 2014 at the Wingate at Fishkill.

Born in New York City on December 8, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Maria (Gemetti) Turco. On December 31, 1944, she married Albert Pucci who predeceased her on March 23, 1991.

Rose had been a seamstress for many years in the New York City Garment District and volunteered at the Lawrence Hospital in Yonkers. She was a parishioner at St. Columba Church where she was a member of the Widows and Widowers Group. She was also a member of the Columbiettes of St. Mary's Council in Fishkill. She loved music, dancing, cooking and entertaining, but most of all, her family was her treasure.

Rose is survived by her children, Joyce Cuccia and her husband Sal of Garrison, Linda Pucci of Cortlandt Manor, Deborah Pisani and her husband Louis of Hopewell Junction, Albert Pucci of New Fairfield, CT, Nicky Pucci and his wife Karissa of Wappingers Falls, and Chris Pucci of Wappingers Falls; her grandchildren, Dominick Cuccia and his wife Janet, Natalie Seltz and her husband Rich, Sal Cuccia and his wife Adrienne, Tina Pisani, Christopher Pucci, Jr., Michael Pucci, Albert Pucci, Jr., Matthew Pucci, Nicholas Pucci, Michael Pucci, and Juliana Pucci; 10 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Rose was also predeceased by her granddaughter, Nicole Joy Pisani Frame on September 28, 2011, her great-grandson, Robert Louis Frame on September 19, 2011, and her 7 brothers and 2 sisters.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 4-8pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc. 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10am at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction followed by burial at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Yonkers.
