Rose Ramputi, 86, departed from this world on March 21, 2026, at Silver Lakes Hospital in Newark, NJ. She was born on November 25, 1939, in Manhattan, NY, to the late Anthony and Louise (Taurisano) Morici.

Rose was a devoted homemaker who nurtured her family with love, warmth, and kindness throughout her life. Rose touched the lives of many with her vibrant spirit, playing crossword puzzles, word searches, Scrabble, and bingo, often gathering her family for lively games. She resided in various places, including Manhattan, the Bronx, Mahopac, Fishkill, and Wappingers Falls, where she made her home at the time of her passing.

On September 24, 1960, Rose married the love of her life, Richard Ramputi, at St. Patrick's Cathedral in Manhattan. Together, they created a beautiful life, sharing laughter and joy until Richard's passing on April 14, 2024. Rose's legacy lives on through her cherished children: Steven Richard Ramputi, Michael Louis, and Maria Lisa Lusardi, as well as her beloved grandchildren: Steven Michael Ramputi, Michael Joseph Ramputi, Nicole Fidelio, Danielle Mattioli, Katherine Davis Ramputi, Michael Steven Ramputi, and Anthony Louis Ramputi. Rose was also a proud great-grandmother, leaving fond memories for Anthony, Sophia, Michael, Braelynn, Isabella, Julianna, Giovanna, Alexa, Vincent, Emelia, and Brooklyn.

Rose is now reunited with her beloved spouse, Richard, and her dear brother, Richard Morici, who predeceased her.
