Roseann T. O'Mara, 81, a resident of Poughquag for 47 years and formerly of Ossining, died on February 11, 2025 at Taconic at Hopewell following a long illness.

Born in Ossining on September 6, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Antoinette (Matera) Bretone. Roseann was a parishioner of St. Denis Church, and a member of the Red Hat Society.

On August 12, 1967 in Ossining, Roseann married Thomas W. O'Mara, Jr. who survives at home. She is also survived by her daughter, Dawn Reardon and her husband Robert; her son, Tom O'Mara and his wife Marge; her grandchildren, Brandon, Samantha and Damien; her sisters, Laura Fewer and Michelle Stafford; and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 4-7pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday at 10am at St. Denis Church, 602 Beekman Road, Hopewell Junction followed by interment in St Denis Cemetery.
