WAPPINGER FALLS- Rosemarie Elaine Masina, a Wappingers Falls resident since 1973, formerly of Yonkers, died at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie with her loving husband and sons by her side on December 29th, 2024. She was 81 years old

Daughter of the late Joseph & Gilda (Pagano) Ciccarelli, she was born in Yonkers on June 24th, 1943.

Rosemarie was a stay-at-home mom. She was a parishioner at St. Columba church in Hopewell Junction, NY.

Rosemarie loved taking trips to the casino and the Jersey shore. She always loved combing along the beach and picking up sea glass. She also loved to garden and feed the birds that stopped by her house. Most of all, she loved her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. There was nothing more important to her in life. She was a strong, resilient, and kindhearted person. Rosemarie was able to be at home celebrating Christmas with her family this year.

On August 31st, 1968, she married the love of her life, Daniel Masina at St. Denis Church in Yonkers. Daniel survives at home.

Aside from her husband, Rosemarie is survived by her two sons, Daniel & his wife Stacy of Fishkill; her son Anthony of Wassaic; her grandchildren Violette & Gwen; her sister Gilda "Cookie" & her husband Richard Marconi; her sister Maryann Shocker; her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Martin and Elizabeth Masina; her nieces and nephews, Kirk, Kim, Keith, Matthew and Jennifer; her former daughter-in-law Cecilia Stancell.

She is also predeceased by her brother-in-law Bill Shocker

Calling hours will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, January 2nd at McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. on Friday, January 3rd at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. Entombment will follow at Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery at the Community Chapel Mausoleum.
