Rosemary M. Barnett, a longtime resident of Croton-on-Hudson, peacefully entered eternal rest on Monday, August 8, 2022. She was born in the Bronx on May 5, 1931 to Rose and Charles Retz.

She was the devoted wife of William for 64 years, prior to his passing in 2015; loving mother of Christine Schultz (David), Kathleen Barnett Ward (Jeff), William Barnett (Terry), and Robert Barnett (Tracey); loving grandmother of Emily, Elizabeth, Jesse, Dan, Kyle, Meagan, and Carly; and loving great-grandmother of Hannah, Mila, Daniel, Nora and Johanna.

Rosemary will be remembered for her kindness and deep faith. She was loved by all who knew her and will be deeply missed.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 4-8 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday at 10 am at St. Kateri Church, 1925 Route 82, Lagrangeville followed by burial at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
