Rosemary DeRobertis, 76, an area resident for 50 years and previously of the Bronx, died on August 8, 2023, at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.
Born in 1947 in the Bronx, NY, Rosemary was the daughter of Antoinette and Frank Noia. She retired from Vassar Brothers Hospital in 2016 after a long and successful career.
Rosemary passed down her love of being creative to her sons, who both carry on her expressive and artistic abilities. She was the type of friend anyone would be blessed to have, never having a bad word to say about anyone, and always looking at the positives. When not spending time caring for her family, Rosemary was a diligent worker. Deciding college was not for her, she worked exceedingly hard at her job at Vassar Brothers Hospital. She started part-time in the mailroom and finished as a supervisor in the business department 37 years later. Her sons were always proud of her work accomplishments and ability to save and plan her family's future. She always provided for her family and was an inspiration in her career and throughout her life. Above all else, Rosemary loved and cherished her family. Her devotion to her husband, sons, and grandchildren has left a lasting legacy.
On May 6, 1967, at Mount Carmel Church in the Bronx, Rosemary married Frank DeRobertis. Survivors include son, Dennis DeRobertis, son and daughter-in-law Christopher V. and Jill DeRobertis; her grandchildren, Michael, Anthony, and Victoria; her sibling, Frank Noia; and her dogs, Bella and Milo.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, August 11th, from 10am-12pm at McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction, NY 12533.
