COLD SPRING - Rosemary A. DeSimone, 76, passed peacefully on September 25, 2022 at the home she has lived in for almost 70 years.

Born on October 25, 1945 in the Bronx, she was the daughter of Rinaldo(Joe) and Beatrice (Redente) Grova. On September 4, 1965 at St. Mary, Mother of the Church, Rosemary married the love of her life, William DeSimone, who passed on May 21, 2021.

Rosemary was a beloved mother and Nana. She was a loving and caring woman, and an inspiration to all who knew her.

Rosemary is survived by her son, William Joseph DeSimone and his wife Gabrielle; her daughter, Gina Pereira and her husband Jorge; her granddaughters, Elena, Isabella and Mellanie; her niece, Christina DeDonato, her husband Tony and their son Christopher and a huge, loving extended family.


Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday at 10am at St. Mary, Mother of the Church, 103 Jackson Street, Fishkill followed by interment in Fishkill Rural Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
