Rosemary Hearty, 90, an area resident for 17 years and formerly of Mohegan Lake, Westchester County, died peacefully at her home on December 8, 2021 surrounded by her loving children.
Born in Peekskill on September 26, 1931, she was the daughter of Henry and Margaret (Hohner) Bruhl. Rosemary was employed as a secretary for Kraft Foods/Philip Morris in White Plains. She enjoyed reading and had been a member of the Taghkanic Chorale.
Rosemary is survived by her children and their spouses, Carol Hearty, Norine Hearty, Chris and Marta Hearty, Jeanne and Terry Barber, John and Stephanie Hearty, Joe and Cheryl Hearty; her grandchildren, Christopher Hearty, Jonathan and Guari Hearty, Gary Beaumont Jr., Kimberly Beaumont-Thompson and Tom Thompson, Justin Hearty, Aubrey and Cody Bradshaw, Amanda Hearty and Ryan Barber; her great-grandchildren, Ava Beaumont, Julia Thompson, Everett Bradshaw, Lowen Bradshaw and Jae Hearty; her brother and sister-in-law, Hank and Jill Bruhl; and several nieces and nephews. Rosemary was predeceased by her son, Bobby.
