Russell Doughty's Obituary
Russell C. Doughty, 55, a lifelong area resident, died on March 15, 2016 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.
He was born in Poughkeepsie on February 14, 1961. He had been employed as an Environmentalist for IBM in East Fishkill for over 25 years. An avid NASCAR fan, he enjoyed watching car racing.
Russell is survived by his mother, Alice (Schoonmaker) Doughty of AZ; his brothers, Joseph Doughty, Dwayne Doughty and his wife Karen of Hopewell Junction, and Keith Doughty of Tucson, AZ; his dear friend, Lisa Marcojohn; his nieces and nephews, Kyle and Kerri Doughty, Vanessa Doughty, and Jodanna and Kevin Palmer; his great-niece, Elyanna; and his great-nephew, Mark. He was predeceased by his father, Joseph Edgar Doughty and his great-niece, Shaelynn.
Donations may be made in Russell's memory to the Dutchess County SPCA. Funeral services will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc.
