Ruth Dean's Obituary
Ruth Dean, 63, a lifelong resident of the Fishkill/Hopewell Junction area, died on August 16, 2021 at Senior Care of Marion in South Carolina. She had moved to North Carolina last year.
Born in Queens on January 27, 1958, Ruth was the daughter of the late Otto and Maria (Rabe) Schnaidt. She retired in 2014 from IBM in East Fishkill where she worked for over 30 years as a technician. She was a member of the First Reformed Church of Fishkill.
Ruth is survived by her sisters, Edith Tholo of Minnesota and Inge Reynolds of Fishkill; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and friends. In addition to her parents, she as also predeceased by her husband, William Dean.
A service will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 11 am in the memorial garden of the First Reformed Church of Fishkill, 1153 Main Street, Fishkill.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Dutchess County SPCA.
