Ruth Schwartz, age 87, a long time resident of Yonkers, NY and recently of Wappingers Falls, NY, passed away on November 29, 2022 at the Pines at Poughkeepsie. She was born in Brooklyn, NY on September 23, 1935 to parents Louis and Molly (Geller) Lowatsky. On October 16, 1955, she married her loving husband Sherman Schwartz in Farmingdale, Long Island. He predeceased her in 2021.

Ruth greatly enjoyed being a homemaker and creating a lovely and inviting atmosphere for friends and family. She loved to cook, watch the news, and loved her neighbors. Being a grandma was one of the greatest joys of her life, and she adored her grandchildren.

She is survived by her beloved children: Michelle Pantori, Michael Schwartz (Sue), and Stacey Dylewski (Eric); her cherished grandchildren: Anthony, Daniel, Amanda and Dianna Pantori, Michael Schwartz, and Hunter and Sean Dylewski; as well as a great-grandson Logan; her siblings Burton Lowatsky and Esther Lerner, as well as nieces and nephews.

In addition to her loving husband Sherman, Ruth is predeceased by her brother Stanley Lowatsky and her sister Maxine Steinberg.

A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date to be determined by the family.
