Obituary

Ryan Jonathan Franolich, 34, a lifelong area resident, died on September 17, 2024.

Born in Poughkeepsie on August 13, 1990, he was the son of Peter Franolich and Denise Randall Hill. Ryan was a skilled tradesman and had been employed as a welder and mechanic for Royal Carting. He was an all-around outdoorsman enjoying fishing, gardening, and boating. He was also very creative as an artist and poet. He also enjoyed cooking, Magic the Gathering and playing video games with friends.

Ryan is survived by his son, Myles Franolich; his father, Peter Franolich and his wife Candy; his mother, Denise Hill; his sister, Heidi Randall; his brother, Peter Franolich and his wife Alecia Rocker; his nephew, Owen Franolich; his sister, Angelica Franolich; his grandmother, Nadine Randall; his aunt, Missy Franolich and her husband James Cunliffe; his cousin, Michael Roeder; his aunt, Renate Frazier and family; his aunt; Therese Silicato and her husband Mark; his cousins Jeremy Wilcox; Sara Spritzer; and Mike Silicato; his uncle Jeff Randall and his wife Jennifer; his cousins Todd Randall; and Alicia Kuhn; his aunt Laureen Joy; his cousins Jason Joy, Brittney Stone and Brianne Brown; and all friends and extended family.

Ryan's sunshine was his heart that touched each person that he knew. For all of those who enjoyed his time and company got to experience his strengths, wisdom and his everlasting love. GO BRONCOS!!!

Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2-6pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
