Ryan Anthony Weatherwax, 22, a lifelong area resident, passed away on September 4, 2021 from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.

Ryan was born on July 23, 1999 to Richard Weatherwax and Michelle Weatherwax.

Ryan will be forever remembered for his quick wit, infectious smile, radiant eyes and sweet disposition. He was a loving son, a supportive and adored brother, a beloved grandson, and a valued and trusted friend. He touched so many lives.

Ryan was a graduate of Roy C. Ketcham High School, Class of 2017. Ryan was an athlete who enjoyed baseball and wrestling. He lived for the thrill of the BikeLife. In fact, he loved anything with a motor! Ryan also enjoyed snowboarding and spending time outdoors.

Ryan is survived by his parents, Richard Weatherwax and his wife Noreen of Poughkeepsie, Michelle Weatherwax and Mark Spinozza of Wappingers Falls; his siblings, Madison, Riley and Kiera Weatherwax; his grandparents, Richard and Kathleen Weatherwax, Chester and Judith Harriman, Mary Winterfeldt; his great grandmother, Ethel Harriman; his best friend and other half, Tori Cirrincione; his dog, Apollo; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, September 9, 2021 from 2-8pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, September 10, 2021 at 10am at St. Martin de Porres Church, 118 Cedar Valley Road, Poughkeepsie followed by entombment at Fishkill Rural Cemetery.
