BEACON – S. Gurmukh Singh of Beacon, NY a respected member of the community, passed away at Westchester Medical Center on August 5, 2011.
He was born in Pakistan and grew up in Punjab, India. He later immigrated to the United States in 1974.
He is survived by his wife, Inderjit Kaur; son, Ridepreet (Prince) Singh; daughter, Amarjot (Poonam) Kaur; and three granddaughters, Tavroop, Avneet, and Saroop.
The funeral service will be held on Monday, August 8, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. Cremation will follow at Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery, 342 South Avenue, Poughkeepsie.
