LAGRANGEVILLE - Sallie Elizabeth (Forbes) Cusano , 49, an area resident for 20 years, died on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center following a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Ballston Spa on May 16, 1964, she was the daughter of Sarah Wheeler Pritchard of Vero Beach, FL and Nelson Forbes of Ballston Spa, NY. Sallie was employed as Vice President and District Sales Manager for Key Bank. She was widely known in the mortgage banking industry previously employed as a Vice President for CitiCorp and Chase. She was an active member of the Valley Christian Church in Hopewell Junction.
On December 9, 2004 in St. Lucia, Sallie married William P. Cusano who survives at home. She is also survived by her brothers, David Forbes of Ballston Spa and Vincent Forbes of Saratoga Springs; her stepdaughter, Lauren Cusano of Manhattan; her nieces, Maggie and Madison; and her nephews, Aaron and Tyler.
Calling hours will be held on Friday from 6-7:30pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. A Memorial Service will follow at 7:30pm.
