Wappingers Falls – Sally Ann Lynn, 81, an area resident since 1972 and formerly of Kingston, died on July 13, 2023 at the Lutheran Care Center.

Born in Monaca, PA on July 15, 1941, she was one of nine children of Harold and Willow (Birge) Winkle. Sally had been employed as a cook at the Glen Eagles Retirement Home in Wappingers Falls. She was a member of the New Hackensack Reformed Church. She was a member of the bowling league at Fishkill Bowl. She also enjoyed fishing and was a big football and baseball fan – especially of the Steelers and Pirates.

On August 3, 1963 in Aliquippa, PA, Sally married Gerald Lee "Jerry" Lynn who predeceased her on September 18, 2015. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Lorry and Luke McCarthy, and Larry and Maureen Lynn; her grandchildren, Ryan and Kendal Lynn; her siblings, Harold, Donna, Peggy and Mary; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 3-5pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. There will be a service at 5pm.
