Santhakumari Kunamneni, 70, an area resident since 2005, died surrounded by her family at 9:00pm on September 12, 2020 uttering “Sai Ram”before her last breath.

Born in Guntur, AP, India on November 14, 1949, she was the daughter of Krishna Moorthi Danekula and Venkayamma Kantheti. She was a devotee at the Hindu Samaj Temple. She was an ardent devotee of Shirdi Sai Baba.

On February 7, 1969 in Guntur, AP, India, Santhakumari married Srimannarayana Kunamneni. She is survived by her husband, Srimannarayana Kunamneni; son, Srinivas Kunamneni and daughter-in-law, Kavita Kamtamneni of East Windsor, NJ; her daughter, Nirmala Bonthu and son-in-law, Srinivas Bonthu of Poughkeepsie; and her granddaughters, Nandaki and Yashaswini.

The Funeral Service will be held on Monday beginning at 11:00am at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Santhakumari Kunamneni to the Sparrow’s Nest of the Hudson Valley.
