Sara L. DiLiddo, 77, a resident of Hopewell Junction for 20 years and formerly of Yonkers, died on Monday, July 16, 2012 at her home surrounded by her family following a long illness.
Born in Yonkers on November 4, 1934, she was the daughter of Leonard and Louise Denise DiSanto. She had been employed as a waitress at the Leewood Country Club in Eastchester and was a parishioner of St. Columba Church in Hopewell Junction.
Sara is survived by her beloved husband of 60 years, Mauro DiLiddo; her children, Michael DiLiddo and his wife Diana of Fishkill, Angela DiLiddo and her wife Marianne McCormack of Stony Point and John DiLiddo of Fishkill; her grandchildren, Jennifer, Michele, Michael, Jessica and Jonathan; her brother, Lenny DiSanto of East Stroudsburg, PA; and her sister, Anne Johnson of Yonkers.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 5-8pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 9:30am at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction.
