Satnarine Thackurdeen, 58, a resident of Lagrangeville since 2003 and previously of Queens, South Ozone Park, died on Sunday, June 3, 2018 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center surrounded by his family.

Born on August 19, 1959 in Trinidad, Satnarine was the son of Pooran and Rambascia (Jaimungal) Thackurdeen.

Satnarine was a New York City Yellow Cab Taxi Driver. He enjoyed outdoor activities, cars, music, movies, ice cream, making jokes and fixing things. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He will be remembered for always making people laugh and being a big jokester. He was a member of Living Waters Church.

Survivors include his wife, Christendai (Baboolal) Tharkurdeen of LaGrange; his children, Nalini Thackurdeen of LaGrange, Danny Thackurdeen of LaGrange, and Justin Thackurdeen of LaGrange; his grandson, Travis Carneiro; and his dog, Kyro.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 3-7pm at McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The service will be held on Monday at 10am at the funeral home.
