Scott Alan McEntee, 50, died suddenly from complications of COPD on March 30, 2015 in Louisville, KY.

Born on November 3, 1964 in Paterson, NJ, he was the beloved son of Marcia and Harry "Bud" McEntee of Poughquag, NY. He was a 1983 graduate of Roy C. Ketcham High School and served in the U.S. Navy with VFA 131 aboard the U.S.S. Coral Sea in the Aviation Sector. He was honorably discharged in June 1990, after seven years of service. He also graduated from the Florida Academy of Aeronautics, and most recently worked in the commercial airline industry as an airline inspector.

In addition to his parents, Scott is survived by his son, Jeffrey Alan McEntee of Poughquag, NY; his brother, Marc McEntee, his sister-in-law, Dorothy, and their children, Shaun and Melissa of Croton-on-Hudson, NY; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins from New Jersey.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, April 11 from 2-3:30pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. A celebration of Scott's life will commence at 3:30pm and will include spiritual thoughts, military honors and an opportunity for family and friends to share their memories.
